But it's ok, you don't have to agree with me. I know what it takes to go fast and have lots of friends with FAST cars so my opinions may differ from others. We're still friends wether we agree or not. :p

Turbo fan or not you're gonna like my new setup. Lets just say it's not an STS combo.
I'm looking forward to the new setup!

Of course we can disagree, its all good bro, I honestly think if we spent more time hammering out the details of proper suspension set up for a specified application it would be more common knowledge.
I've heard you talk about it vagely a few times, things like 90/10 shocks, weight transfer, yada yada yada.

in any case, he's got the whipple already, I would try and make that work.

Wouldn't the GT-37 turbo have little noticeable lag? I bet you would feel a bit of lag with a GT-67 on a 5.3, but the smaller turbo should improve that.

That's correct. The Livernoise kit should have VERY LITTLE lag at all. My 5.3L GT35 combo barely had any lag. I was at FULL boost at 3200rpm and would make boost as soon as I floored it. Only problem there is that in 2wd I would mash it at 30mph and the truck would just kick sideways and HAZE the tires till I lifted. LOL The GT67 was much better for ET/MPH but it couldn't have them at 30mph like the GT35 could.

I run 1.50 60ft's with leafs cal-tracs and 235/60's. Don't need all of that stuff for the street. BTW a intercooled Whipple would be cool.
Probibly wish you had bought a Radix now huh.

Yeah, but you are running those short times at the track in an S10, not on the street in a much heavier, longer wheel base truck. My S10 hooks well also, but it cant carry a load much at all. My Z71 in 2wd would need more done to the suspension than the S10 to hook properly with its stiff 1/2 ton rear suspension.
I think an intercooled Whipple would be very cool, and I would bet it would put down much better numbers than an intercooled Radix- but at a much higher cost.

to my knowledge a whipple has not put down a better number than the Radix, in our LS based truck world anyway, however, with the amount of cfm its capable of moving, the potential is certainly there, I would love to see it......RyanSilverado23 has his whipple laying down some stout numbers, I was checking out his website the other day and his dyno runs looked very impressive, and of course, Parish had his whipple running pretty nicely too.

Is there any numbers for an intercooled whipple? I considered one for a little while, but w/o the intercooler I probably would have gone Radix if I went that route. If you have any links for big # whipples, please post them.

This is the question about the LMS kit, will the gt-35 fall off above a certain RPM? and then the upgraded turbo is mandiatory??? That front mount is sweet, the turbo selection is the problem I see, but Rick(Ithink )has reassured and offered a drive to check out the caddy to answer my questions about the turbo selection...

I believe the LMS kit uses a GT37 turbo. Depending on the use the turbo may end up too small but until we see some dyno sheets for the Escalade or some other 6.0L I can't know. I'm not good at reading compressor maps yet but if you can find a map for a GT37 then we can compare because I know where to find the charts for the 6.0L.

I think the GT37 is close to a GT67 isn't it?

check out this http://not2fast.wryday.com/turbo/maps/all.html

Pressure ratio (LQ9) 1.3 to 1.7
adjusted air flow @ 10psi 57
@5psi 46.

Finde the intersection on the map w/those two numbers...it should be in the middle of the island, I think...
