Injector adapters

Instead of cutting the original plug off and splicing in the new one why couldn't you just make a connector/adapter that goes from one plug to another?

You could have them all done and then just plug them in when you are under the hood. Reason I say this is because getting those new adapters on way back next to the firewall has to be a real PITA.

I just don't know what you would need for a plug which would go into the original plug? Anyone have any ideas?

Just trying to make it easier when I go to bigger injectors and need those adapters.

Thanks,
Dan

No one makes a female style plug for the truck Multec II injectors, if someone did then it would be easy to make adapters.. You'll have to cut and splice.

so how is it cutting and splicing the ones in the way back?

I bought the connector shells for my L76 setup and cut out terminals and installed new terminals. It took about a hour to do.

I didnt have any problems doing the ones in the back, just unclip the injector plugs and unhook the little loom clips and you can pull the injector harness away from the engine some. No problem at all.

that makes sense. Because they are in there pretty tight to start with.
