after a cam swap what did you set your idle at. mine idle at 500-600 and when i did the cam swap I love the lopey idle but now since I got the retune for allen he raise the idle to 800. but now the lopeiness is gone I want the idle set back down but will that cause driveablity issues.

The idle is raised to eliminate it possibly stalling at idle. Other reasons are to keep it from running rich at idle.
Driveability isn't sacrificed of course when running above idle.
I would leave it the way Allen set it to. It will idle better that way.
If you just have to have it lowered, aim for around 700-750.

if you love the sound so much record someone elses car and play it on a CD. people tune these things for a reason and if you were idling at 500 and you kicked your a/c compressor on i can almost guarantee your truck would die. i idle at about 950 but its still got a good lope
