I know, another Spark plug question
 

Since my engine just rebuilt on the dealers dime, they aren't putting new plugs, so I am going to change my stockers which have 22,600 miles on them because I want new plugs to go with the new crank/cam-lifters/bearings. I am looking at these two any preference? I have a 2005 Silverado ECSB L33 5.3, which was the aluminum HO engine for that year. I did use the search but thought it would be better to ask as I am looking at these two options and not some cheaper plugs, I am hoping these will be the last ones as I only drive 5,000 miles or a year on it.

why these over some tr55s? those are some expensive plugs and i doubt u would ever notice them to justify the price difference. if your stuck on them then just run the ac delcos. basically the same plug and a couple bucks cheaper

Not sure, I just wanted something I won't have to touch again because of the low miles, but if I drove it for a while I wanted to know they would be fine. I know guys who change plugs all the time because they use cheap ones, but with the risk of stripping out an aluminum head, I would rather change my plug out once and be done with it for a long time. No to mention I am going to have to look at the factory serive manual to get the torque setting and use my torque wrench as well.

I'd go with the Delco's because as mentioned, I believe that they are the same plug as the NGK's, and are a few bucks cheaper. I have the NGK's myself, still in the boxes, which I'm hanging on to and plan to install in my LQ9 if I can ever afford to build it. If you can wait, check out SparkPlugs dot com (I believe that is the site, google "spark plugs" just to be sure). I've bought from them before and IIRC they had the best prices that I could find at the time.

BTW, so far in my truck, I've experimented with first the stock Delco platinums that it came with, then some Denso Iridiums, and currently some NGK TR55's, and they all performed the same, idled the same, same fuel economy, etc. On a properly tuned vehicle, you can probably expect 80k+ on a set of iridium plugs without worry. I've replaced original iridiums on Toyota/Lexus's with over 200k on them, that were performing flawlessly. (IIRC Toyota recommends a 120k spark plug change interval for their iridiums...I think that GM recommends 100k but I'm not sure)

Just slaps there name it..

I put the 41-110's in and some MSD 8.5 wires.... The trucks runs a lot smoother now, after the new bearings and cam/crankshaft. Like a new truck now. I did think the torque was a little low on them at 11 ft/lbs on a used head, but used my inch pound wrench on 132... Only took about an 1 hour or so plus cleaning up some fluids from the engine getting fixed. I will take if for a drive later when I go to church.
