Ok, Ok , Ok I don't normally give out my "MAD SKILLS", but since Neil has fallen out of the boat, I'll do it. Would you accept a "Guru in Training" <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" border="0" alt="[devil]" />

Hey Greg, when I saw the $22 price on that AIM link you provided, I started to order some until I totaled it up and it said $15 shipping. LOL! I'd rather drive to Awesome Truck and pick them up today for $36 lol.

Tony, make sure you get the shims. The extended cab has a two peice drive shaft and they are needed to keep from vibrating at takeoff from 1000 - 2800 RPM.

I'm going to try it without the shims first. Not all cars have drivetrain vibration problems. I've seen several identical setup F-bodies and some had it some didn't.
I don't see how lowering the rear 2" will change the pinion angle that much. Doesn't make much sense, because our suspension travel is far greater than 2"

Avoid AIM! Many horror stories about them on FSC.com

I agree with that, I should have warned of that. I did get my things from AIM. Both orders were wrong. I ordered 2" drop springs, they send 3". Oh well I put them on since I had it torn down before I noticed the little tag on the spring. Then I order spring cushions and rear pancake bump stops, no bump stops with my order when it arrived. To their credit, I had no problem with tech and customer service after the sale.

DJM or BellTech make them. I have DJM. I paid 49.95 for the set. Install is easy if you have level ground and a couple of jacks. Putting it on a lift makes for about a 10 min. install. Good luck.
