How do you increase fuel pressure to run more N20?
 

If anyone has done this before, or simply knows how to do it, can you tell me how to bump up fuel pressure. Is there something along the fuel rail? On the fuel rail? If anyone knows could you please give me a detailed description on what to turn, where, and how much to turn it approximately for running a 100-125 shot of N20. (I went lean on a .052 jet and don't want this to happen again) THANKS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Oh yeah, how much can i safely spray (dry shot) stock internals and heads before i would need to get a larger capacity fuel pump? Im not really trying to blow up my engine or anything. just curious...

Not sure if there is a regulator on these trucks. But I would suggest going with a MAF Translator. You can get them from just about any of the sponsers. This will allow you to adjust how Rich/Lean you run while making N20 or N/A runs. I think it is a very good investment if you plan to spray with a dry shot.

There is a regulator for the truck GenIII motors and it in fact is same ones the f-bodies have "inside" the fuel tank (PITA.) The truck one is factory adjustable and accessable from the driver's side fuel rail and has a vacuum boosting diaphram. It requires a #10 security torx bit and a fuel pressure gauge to properly adjust. I believe I posted detailed instructions on adjust some time ago...try a search.

I have run a .061 jet without lean issues an proper fuel pressure. Good fuel pressure for Higher HP nitrous setting usually puts be 3-5% rich on the motor...as monitored by ATAP.

thanks for responding. Yeah Oxidizr you did talk about the fuel adjust before. And actually it was me that asked about it too. I just still couldn't find the diaphram on the driver's side fuel rail <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> '99 isn't different is it? Is it approx. halfway on the rail or stuffed back by #7 piston? Is this a tube coming off the main fuel rail?

There is an adjustment that can be made. I have'nt done it, but Oxidizr can tell you how. I think Daren,(lovinthec5) sprayed 135 dryshot on his with the stock fuel system. Going lean can make BAD thing happen.
