Default Help! Install A/F Gauge

What wire do I use on the o2 sensor to hook up to the gauge? I used the search and can't find what one to use. Also, which o2 senor or does it matter? The truck is an 02 with 6.0 liter. Thanks.

From my Whipple install:

2002 6.0:
Factory Pin = Blue 69 for Bank 1 Front O2 Snsor Purple/White
OR
Factory Pin = Blue 66 for Bank 2 Front O2 Sensor Purple
I connected my A/F guage to one of these two, just can't remember which. The Blue refers to the PCM cluster color. PM me if ya need more details.

Is the General's O2 sensor a wideband or narrow band sensor?

I have no idea what the deal was but back when I was trying to install mine (digital gauge from dynotune.org), it was reading up to 1.25V at wot (waaaay too rich) and no matter what wire I spliced into it read too high even tried a regular volt meter on it. It jumped around at idle and 1/4 throttle just like a regular a/f guage, but at anything more than 1/2 throttle it would read too rich. I hope you get it working w/o the aggrivation I went through.

I think the O2 sensors are narrow band sensors. Wondering if it is appropriate to wire into these for accurate readings. Dynojet requires the installation of a wideband sensor in order to hook up their Wideband Commander:
