I will be extremely surprised if the ID is actually 1 3/4. Those headers are identical copies to pacesetter's which are 1 3/4", however, the chinese LPP's use thicker SS than the pacesetter mild steel which decreases the ID. Those ebay headers that the camaro/ls1 people use are XS power headers which are proven to be 1 5/8". And if you missed it, one of the members on here that just had the debale with his LPPs headers got them and it had a XS power badge welded on it! So much for LPPs being made in America . In short, I'd put money on those primary tubes on the LPPs being identical to those on the OBXs.

I bet my AEM headers with 2.5" collectors are choking up my 6.0L.

Luke I would get some 1 3/4 headers.

I bet you're right. I'm upgrading for the same reason you're thinking about it. My OBX's are choking my motor up and I'm leaving plenty of power on the table I'm sure. I'll either be getting a set of the LPP's -or- Kook's.

Yes i love my circle D stall. Its a little too loose for my cam only 5.3l for now but its a lot of fun to drive. Its at a 4c style converter right now making it a 4000-4200 stall... im getting it tightened down to a 3600-3800 stall size.

luke is it a triple disc? lets trade stalls? i'll even do all the work ok ok so someone will!! i have the triple disc 4k its to tight for me, if you dont like it we'll trade back yes and all the work is on me

I have installed the Pacesetters and the LPP's on 5.3's and they both fit well but for the money, you can't go wrong with the LPP's. There made from 321 grade stainless and the flange is thicker. The welds look awsome and of course you won't have to worry about replacing them due to rusting out over time.

No it isn't a triple disc . We can still trade though if ya want hahaha!

That's what I think too skeet. Since I'm going to be going to a 6.0 later on it would be good to already have 1 7/8's already on to take more advantage of the 6.0.

Thanks for all the help guys. What's a good set of 1 7/8's headers? Probably would have to get a custom y-pipe made for it though huh? Or should I just re-use the pacesetter y-pipe I have?
