Were did you find this info? I used stock GM TTY bolts when I did my head swap with the engine still in the truck.

Same here I've swapped head bolts twice with engine in truck. No need to pull engine, to much work IMO

I think he wrote that backwards.I would think studs would be tough with engine in truck.
