It looks like the little red power box and wire loom going to the intake is impeding. I can remove the red box and see if that gives me enough room.

why is it a big deal? Why don't you just put it in from the bottom?

For once I'm not trying to be a dick, just legitimately curious.

The bottom is best, take your inner fenders and tires off and it will make it even easier..

Yea man, the bottom is your best bet, it's a piece of cake that way...you have to go down there to do the collectors and y-pipe anyway. I'm assuming that you're trying the top because you're on jackstands and might be having problems getting the truck high enough?

I have, i did disconnect the streering shaft in were they meet and i beleive the red power box, which is easy enough with its two bolts... as i remember, the drivers side was easier than the passenger but i believe it was the shape of the header... these are Pacesetter LT's i was installing. But i also have done it from the bottom up, which was much easier.

its a piece of cake on the drivers side, just mark the driveshaft at the coupling, use a 15mm wrench then push up the shaft towards the steering column, slide header in place, put a few bolts in and hook up collector, then tighten bolts on header, good luck.
