Grudge Run

I need some expertise...I am running my brother in law next week at our dragstrip...I have a 04 5.3 thats about a 15 flat truck on radials..he has a 85 454 dually...that should run the same time...I am thinking about some street slicks..maybe even a smaller tire slick for better gearing...any sugestions??? also do they make smaller rims for that truck..6 lug...thanks I have to whip his A**..

16" rim is the smallest you can run without grinding down the brake calipers. nitrous would get the job done

i would imagine you will kill him as is. i rode in a few 454 dually's and they weren't fast. torquey as hell tho.

hope so..

thanks for the info...he did do some work on the dually...took off all smog crap ..headers, carb & intake...it woke the truck up...I think I will take him though...
