Default Granatelli plug wires

Any of you guys tried these things?? My friend got a set for his T/A. He was having some funky spikes in the high RPM's when dynoing. Tuner said he had seen it before and better plug wires cured it. Well he got the Granatellis, and they claim a 0 ohm wire. I measured both with my VOM. The stockers were like 390 ohm's. The Granatelli was 1 ohm!! Though it was kinda cool. They are a solid stainless core wire.

I've considered those wires before. The price of them is the only thing holding me back. Chevy HighPerformance magazine tested these wires on a 5.3 Silverado. Here is a link to the article:

It's hard to believe they got 15 hp and 17 tq from wires.

Yea. We are having a hard time buying into that deal. A little note on the page that came with the wires says "you may have to play with plug gap to get the HP." What a joke.

I bought them also, They are a little longer than stock, and that is what I needed. I had to put valve cover spacers on after I did my 1.85 rockers because they were hitting my valve covers. That in return stretched my stock wires and I was getting misfires in all eight cylinders,

It isn't hard to believe when the testing and dynoing was done at Granatelli.

I use Taylor Thundervolts and I felt some slight differences. A tad bit better throttle response and a little better idle. Some laugh at that but others have too. I guess its a shot in the dark.
