I would get hardened pushrods as the stock ones will likely be okay, but they might bend and then you'll have to put new pushrods in anyways. $100 for pushrods.

Get hardend ones, it will save you trouble and money down the road. Trust me.

I just put a LS6 cam in a truck last weekend. Used the STOCK push rods and it worked fine.

Stockers will work, you just won't get the full lift of the cam with the shorter stock pushrods. the 7.425's will put you with the lift you would have gotten from the Z06's LS6 sodium filled valves in the 243 heads that were longer than yours (706 heads??) Again with the 117.5 LSA this is a good boost cam, you won't bleed off any of the boost when as the time that both IN and EX valves aren't open at the same time for a long period of time. The LS6 springs area good cheap choice. What blower are you thinking about? Maggie?

The ONLY way to know for sure what push rod length you need is to measure IT!!!

People need to learn how hydraulic lifters work ......

You won't loose ANY lift with the stock pushrods. You will be fine.

Nice setup, it will make up for the TQ you need with that 4.8........I think you will like the Z06 cam for bost.........alot of vette guys love it for that reason..........so then, why would GM put longer valves in the Z06 heads.......they obviously know how hydraulic lifters work?

To put the lifter piston in the middle of their travel range. With STOCK 7.4 push rods on a LS6 cam, the lifter pistons are in the top end of there travel, but not max out. You still get full travel and lift. If they were out of there travel range, then the push rods would not tighten down and would rattle like hell and you would not get full lift, but this is not the case with 7.4 rod on a LS6 cam. I've installed 3 of these cams with stock 7.4 push rods, (a turbo 4.8 and a 5.3 and just did it in a NA 4.8) so I have a little experience with them,
