Gibson/Flowmaster?
#1
I currently have a stainless Gibson cat back on my truck and have been thinking about scraping the muffler for a single inlet dual outlet Flowmaster. The Gibson is 3 inch inlet and 2.5 outlets; I'll just take it out and in it's place put in the Flowmaster 2 chamber 3 inch inlet 2.5 outlets. I want to keep it stainless so I found the part number for the stainless Flow's (40 or 50 series). Do you guys think I will get anything out of the swap? Maybe I should just sale the current setup and go for a true dual setup? I've heard several people talk about going dual and staying single w/ the dual tail pipes, and I guess it's all about overall diameter when it's all said and done?

I had a Gibson Sport truck set up 3" in and 2 - - 2.5 out
I thought it was too quiet
I called Gibson and bought a Race Truck muffler
same 3" in and 2 - 2.5 out
Major difference.
Sounds very powerful and deep.
Ran night and day.
Love it.
I would tell anyone to do.
The sound is def there - so not for someone who like it quiet.
