Hey Skippy, What kind of times are you running at carlsbad?

 

You guys sure are serious about this, paying for gas. I'll let you know when I head down to Carlsbad, within the next couple weeks. Hopefully a couple Dodge guys and possibly an SS will show up too. I also posted in their forums. If that is the case, then a drive from Texas may be worth while. There will be at least one other Ford, maybe two in the mix.

 

You guys kill me! I can't wait until I get the AFR headed 408 stuffed into my square body F-150 with a lil' shot of squeeze on it just in case. Then I'll be quicker. After that someone will build another 422 on this board and go faster. It will never end until the vehicle isn't streetable. LOL

 

Yep! Always gonna be someone faster! No grudge match here, I just want a few different trucks at the track.

I don't know yet. That will be part of the fun, finding out.

 

hitman, you're so right....but what is streetable???

 

Well my definition would be still having all power accessories ... A/C, PS, PB, etc. Still drivable on a daily basis if need be for some reason. Needs to idle if stuck in traffic. No 106-108* LSA's. No solid lifters.

Something durable! Build it right the first time (even a tad mild for the street if need be) and make it up with a shot of nitrous.

 

So did anyone go race this guy?
