Fbody headers on 05 silverado?
 

i used the search and found out a little info but not exactly what i was looking for...

I have a set of old style SLP headers for an fbody. The ones that hung really low. My truck is a RCSB 05 silverado 4wd. Will these headers fit on there? thanks for the help.

haha that was the little info that i did find..thanks though... per that thread a 4wd truck will not take fbody headers but i didnt see why exactly...anyone have any technical reasons it wont?

front driveshaft maybe?

makes sense to me as that's basically the only difference in the 2. That and I think the frame is bent different on the 4x4 as I recall.
