Exhaust Ideas
 

I want some ideas on a new exhaust setup for my truck.:headbang:

What are you running? 4.3, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0? Any mods? 2wd? 4wd?

5.3 w/stainless steel Longtube headers and 3" true duals into flowmaster 40's,comp cam,CAI and it's a 2wd lowered 3/5. I was thinking of gutting the cats and doing 10 series flowmasters.

Thats a lot of pipe for a bolt on 5.3... you'd be better off with a dual 2.5" exhaust. Do you just want it to be louder?

I'm guessing it's 3" cuz that's what the previous owner told me but looking at it now I personally think it's 2.5" piping. Yeah I want it loud as hell lol.

True 3", no cats,x-pipe, dynomax bullets dumped is nasty loud!

+1 Thats exactly how im doing mine... needs resonators though.

I've heard people talking about resonators before and I'm clueless on what they are.

They get ridof the cackling "glass pack" sound/effect......

Not necessarily true. It takes alot more than a resonator or two to kill the cackle on a truck with headers & ORY with no muffler....

Don't even get me started on droan. :turd:
