Enter to Win Contest!

My oil pressure dropped from 40-60 psi to 20-40 psi. I changed the oil and found what looks like anti-seize compound on the magnet, and silver and copper-like flakes in the oil. We all know what the flakes are, and my old timer mechanic buddy says the stuff on the magnet is iron. He said steel would be black. We are guessing that a main bearing stuck to the crank, and the metal on the magnet is the bearing bore in the block. Or, a cam bearing stuck to the cam and wore the cam bore away. I cut open the filter and took pictures, I wish I saved some of the magnetic stuff.
Anyway, whoever guesses from the pictures what bearing it is wins the prize, to be announced later.

For a long time it has had a weird tick,tick,tick.........tick,tick,tick.........tick ,tick, tick, at around 1600 rpm, but nothing new after the oil pressure loss. I think cam bearing would probably be the best case, because it seems like that would be the engine builder's fault, wouldn't it?

I'm guessing the crank shaft is knocking against something ever so gently.
