Thumbs up Dynatech stands behind their product

Emailed them a while back about 2 problems : passenger side header hitting the frame (its about 1/8" or less away at idle and hits when motor torques) and the two MSD plug wires not fitting right and burning on the headers.

Long story short, Bill Floyd sent me a replacement header, new gaskets and stock plug wire heat sheilds (which will be included in future kits) and will pay for the return shipping of my old header. He said that if this doesn't fix the problem, we can talk about a full refund.

Regardless wether it will work or not (it may still rub - I'll find out this week sometime), I'm pleased with a company that is willing to satisfy their customers.

We haven't had any issues with their headers but they are always VERY good to deal with. It's good to hear postive reviews about manufacturers

Yeah he said this is the ONLY one they've heard of hitting the frame, that they test fit all their headers in test fixtures. That is why I'm concerned that the new header will still rub - it might be my frame or motor mounts or something.

I like to give good reviews to deserving companies and manufacturers, and if need be, bad reviews for the other guys (rpmoutlet) -- considering there are hundreds or thousands of people that will be able to read this thread.

I've got a set that are hitting on both sides. There was ample clearance to start with when they first were installed. Over a period of time they seem to have expanded outward towards the frame.

Have you contacted Dynatech? Are they against the frame at idle or is there some clearance. I noticed the gap did get smaller on mine. The only major problem I worry about is getting false knock retard from the headers hitting......the Predator shows no KR, but I'd like to be on the safe side as well as have no annoying sound when the motor torques. The truck already has enough squeaks and sounds to begin with.
