I would have to agree on the cam... It's really overkill for stock heads. You might be better off selling it and finding something more on the order of a tr224, vinci trucker cam or similar. Something with under .600 of lift.

exactly man. People forget that the fastest n/a 5.3L runs a cam with .551 lift

EDIT-The stock 5.3L heads begin to max out at .500 lift(that's not a typo) and even if you get new heads, the intake maxes out at about .600 lift. Both don't flow very well, but the stock 753(or whatever they're called) heads are ****.

I'll try and hold my tongue man, but stage 1 doesn't mean anything. Who did the heads and do they have flow numbers. I could post some stock head flow charts that would make some guys on here cry

you will need a complete wiring harness for a 5.3..cut the injectors leads off and put on some bosch leads from the parts store..28 lbs ls1 injectors should work..you for the year model you are your probably returnless fuel system so you can make ls1 fuel rails work..for that cam id run a fast 90/90 intake and tb..wich is cable drivin..this gonna be a 6.0 or 5.3??
