Default Copper spray or not on stock MLS head gaskets

I was wondering if everyone sprayed that copper gasket stuff on stock MLS head gaskets when you swap out heads?

So is it needed or not?

Not needed and the start of the whole "tricks to seal heads" can be linked back to old LS1tech trials. Some say spray tack, others clam Hondabond (yamabond if you don't want to go too fast). The bottom line IMO is, if the metal used in the head gaskets gives way, what chance does a semi-drying compound have?

Not needed but i always do it for extra security... ever since i popped my first head gaskets i used it ever since and never had a problem and my stuff was outta wack...

Also torque the heads to exact specs not jus its close enough..
