Default Differences between 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0...

Besides the bore, stroke, heads, and possibly cam?

If someone wanted to get a truck to put a 400+ ci engine in it, would a 4.8 work as well as a 6.0 for a starting point? I'm not going to in the near future, I'm just curious

No, the 6.0L is definitely a better choice. I don't think you can get the 4.8/5.3 block over 400ci stroked or bored.
