Default dbw throttle body

well i got a dbw tb to port and clean up for a buddy and the damn thing went hay wire. it made a funny high pitched noise and stopped working. i got the cover off of it and cant get the electric motor out. is there a way to get it out? the reason i ask is cause i did the porting and stuff before i checked to see if it was worth a **** live and learn. i want to try and repair the motor or cann one off another tb. any ideas? hate to waste the labor.

I got a DBW TB that I tried to port and I apparently took too much out or something, however I am pretty sure the motor and everything in it is ok, you can have it for free if you want, I was just going to throw it away....

I tried to get the electric motor out of two throttle bodies that didn't work. It doesn't come out very easily at all. I ruined them worse than they already were trying to get the motor out. Good luck!

there has to be a way to get them out without screwing them up. what method did you use so, i know not to do it that way.

Smack the other side of the TB with a dead blow or a rubber mallet and the motor will pop right out.
