Default Corsa "TICKING" on my TBSS?

I get a very loud "ticking" or ringing out of the exhaust. It seemed to always do it once parked, but its gotten progressively louder and now it does it while driving ...anybody had this or have a fix?

Do you have long tubes as well? It could be an exhaust leak.

Nope...its bone stock other than the cat back. Whats wierd is that it does it while driving...didnt think a leak caused a pinging/ticking...it echoes out the tube pretty loud!

Mine recently had a ticking in the exhaust that echoed through the whole system. Turned out to be a cat converter falling apart inside. Replaced under warranty even though it's an 04.

Hmmm...that sounds plausible...going in for regular service this week and I'll have them check it. R/
