Default Corsa High Quality? Hmmm...Not Too Sure

Just brought my truck to the shop I bought the Corsa Sport cat-back system.
The muffler has been making this awefull buzzing sound for the past month.
The tech at the shop said that the baffles came loose inside of the muffler and are now resonating and vibrating in the muffler.
He said that they have sent a lot of Corsa systems back to Corsa for the same reasons. Though he said most of the system were for Camaro's or Firebirds.
This has me wondering if their quality is all that good now. The piping, hardware, and fit and finish look good, but the main part of the system has problems.
I would have just ignored the issue and just said it was a defected muffler, but he said they sent a lot of their systems back.
The shop telling me this was MTI (Motorsport Technologies, Inc.). Their shop is really nice. Majority of their customers are Corvettes, GTO's, Camaro's, and Firebirds. Everytime I'm there they have a vette on the chasis dyno ripping it up!

with a company that big that uses mass production there will always be a few mufflers that will come apart or have other defective parts.

They have a lifetime warranty, send it back and they should send you a new one if that's the case.

Yes there is a drain hole. It is right by the weld for the end of the muffler it, it should be down and to the back of the truck.

Wow, sorry to hear about the problems. I'm running the Touring system on each of my trucks with no complaints. I had my local shop owner do the install so I could customize the tip location a little bit. Somewhat of a perfectionist himself (the hot rods he does are amazing) he even commented on the quality of the welds and overall fit and finish. Good luck with everything...

I think mine has just broken loose as well..its been vibrating for a few weeks now..but then again...it could be the extra cubes that broke my 5.3 sport muffler....it will only do it during warm up and coming to a stop where the engine still has a little load on it.
