clogged cats
i have a stock 2003 gmc seirra, and it hasn't been running right. i took it in and they said the cats are clogged so i told them not to fix it cause i have replaced y pipes on my camaro and h pipes on my mustang. i was wondering, would it be best to order a new y pipe or just order new cats. and what sponsor would have the best prices, i checked through them but couldn't find any y pipes for stock exhaust manifolds

sounds like a good time to upgrade to longtubes and a ypipe.
|
wish i could, but all my money is going towards the camaro and motocross. plus i need this truck as just a stock daily driver that is gunna be dependable

Cheapest route would be to just empty the cats. Then you would need a tune to disable the ses light for the rear O2 sensors.

we thought of that, but my mustang had an off road h pipe and it always had a gassy smell, and we are not sure if we want the smell, we found a couple stock replacements for $310. does this sound like a good deal?
