Question Clicking under the hood

There is a distinct clinking under the hood, on the passenger side of my Tahoe. I took it to a dealership and they told me it was normal and was just the fuel injectors. I have never heard this on any other Chevy. It doesn't sound like anything is hitting the fan or belt, it sounds more like an electrical clicking. Any help would be appreciated.

It probablly is the injectors. Is it a single distinct click or a harmony of clicks? Does it increase with rpm?

It does become more frequent with respect to the rpms. It is a single distinct click, about the same rate as a rapid finger tap. It happens about 85% of the time.

That will be normal for the 5.3L engines. My 2000, 5.3L Silverado did the same thing about 95% of the time.
Just have to deal with it. Mine even had piston slap noise for about 30-60 sec after a cold start. You think the injectors are anoying, hope you never hear piston slap come out of your 5.3L. It's pretty loud, but it will go away after the oil circulates thoroughly. Hope your Tahoe's 5.3 doesn't start that later. Mine started around 105,000 miles.

So it's nothing I should worry about? Also, why does mine have this, but none of the other tahoes or 5.3 trucks I have come across have it?

I will check that tomorrow. Also, if that was the case, wouldn't it happen ALL the time, instead of most?

Not to scare you, but there is a TSB on the rockers falling apart. My dads 5.3 in his Z71 broke the #8 exh valvespring at 40k miles and he drive like a old man.

Luckily I have a powertrain warranty. I am hoping to get a new or rebuilt motor and trans before it runs out in about 35k Also, I hate to be a newbie, but what is TSB, I have not seen that one before?
