Cool sound clips

I have two of my truck, with the comp cams 212/218 522/529. The first clip is of the truck just after startup, and the second is after the truck is warmed up.

Black, do you have dual exits or a single? Can you throw a rev in there for us?

Hey man thanks for the clip How do you like your cam? How mcuh HP did you gain? any computer modifications needed? i will be building a 04 5.3L up with blower and im going to need a cam. Is this a good cam to run with a blower? Or How about the XR269HR?, which is the next step up from the cam your running.

The exhaust is single in with dual out flowmaster 40 series delta flow muffler, custom stainless pipes out the back.

The cam works pretty good, it lost a bit of power down low, but she really pulls from 3000 and right to the shift point. So far no tuning, but I think it would help a lot. It sets a multiple cylinder missfire code all the time, but the ses light only turns on when you let it idle in park for to long, only when its cold, once its warmed up it will idle all day at the stock 500 rpm. The best part is the idle and sound, the exhaust is much louder and a much meaner sound too.

What's the lobe center on that cam?

That's what gives you the lope or chop.

That thing sounds soooooo good. I hope you tell me it's a 114 center, cause that's what I'm lookin to put in mine.

It's probably 114...

Does anyone think bumping the LSA down to 113 or 112 would bring back some lowend power, and still have a reasonable idle? Oh yeah, and still pass emissions?

Black Z71 - where would you say the engine lost it's power down low?

Under 1500rpm I can handle... from 1700 to 2200 would unfortunately be unacceptable for me.

I'm on the edge of my seat here... This is the cam I was looking to go with in my 5.3. I had no idea it sounded that nice.
