Lightbulb ... This Cam setup on a 4.8L...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

^^^ thts the link from ebay... it also has all the part numbers for pushrods, retainers, and springs at the bot of the page.. which is convient. I added up everything togetther totalling out at about $690.00 give or take.

All the specs are on that page listed above..

What do you think? Will I be paying too much, or are there better cam setups for a 4.8L v8 Silverado?

Ever consider getting everything used. I would not pay $350+ for a new cam.

That cam would work awesome in your 4.8. With great tuning there should not be any driveability issues aswell. Check with 01 Thunder or CrazyCutter. They have a similar cam in their 4.8's.

I installed similar cam 224/224 .586 114lsa, I love it, you will want at least a 3000 stall, I decided on the 3500. Makes a ton of power, feels great. the 114 lsa would be a better nitrous cam. the 112 would make better power on straight motor....
