I got the Crane spring compressor from Vinci, www dot vincihiperformance dot com, The best one to do the springs with the heads on the engine IMO (does two springs at once and compresses them evenly, they don't slip sideways)

I can attest to this, seeing how I used Billy's compressor to do mine.

Compressed air is the preferred method, or you can use rope through the spark plug hole.... (I'll bet that if you google it or check youtube you can find the rope method)

is there anything i need to know when i tare in to it? dose it need to be on tdc befor i pull it apart?
