Default Cam break in lube?

ok got a quick question. im just waiting for my new timing cover to come in and was talking to a couple guys i work with about the cam. they were asking me what oil i put back in the truck since i did an oil change on top of swapping the cam. i put in the same thing i have always used which is 5w20 mobil 1. they said i need to use something thicker to break the cam in. i then told them that i used comp cam cam and lifter installation assembly lube. can anyone verify this or am i ok using the 5w20? i will be finishing up the swap around 5pm today and would like a few opinions by then if possible. here is my other thread about my cam if it helps.

I have always just used whatever oil I plan to run in the motor, at least for a roller setup.

thats what i assumed also since i used cam assembly lube which i would imagine does the same thing that really thick oil would do. maybe running really thick oil is what i would do if i didnt use an assembly lube...

Just oil it up and slide it in. Only cam you use break in lube on is a flat tappet cam.
