FWIW the Kit starts at 5K so it's not any cheaper then a supercharger.

The STS kit retains the cats to be CARB compliant but the system only runs about 5 PSI of boost unless you upgrade the Turbo. If you don't buy the parts from them with there tune from the hand held you can't get the CARB Compliance sticker and documentation you need for California.

Been awhile but I'm updating this thread once again. I'll post pics when I take them (I can be bad about not taking pics when I should...)
Anyway, I finally installed my Tahoe Z71 valence, took a while to get it off, the caps above the tow hooks were a bitch to remove. But eventually I got them off and just left those two out. Truck looks great now. Them I added the bestop wireless power running boards. So far they're working great, but only time will tell how they're holding up. The truck has roughly 7k miles on my cam and converter swap and is doing great, however I decided she needs moar loud and fast. So I bought some thorley tri y's from Blackbear. Best price I could find and the build quality is great. I know these trucks are notorious for breaking heads off the exhaust manifold bolts. I've pb blasted them several times. So far my main problem is lack of accessibility to my y pipe collector bolts... Anybody got any tips for a header install? And I think my cold start problem is the fuel pressure regulator. When I went to purge the valve on the fuel rail crossover, nothing came out at all. Granted it had been sitting overnight and I didn't prime the pump either...

Headers are on now, not as loud as I thought it would be with the y pipe welded up, in chalking that up to the bigger case of my muffler. Haven't put enough mileage on to tell I'm my gas mileage has improved or worsened, but the power increase is subtle to me. It's definitely not working as hard to get over hills now and cruises at a lower rpm so that should be good. This will be the last mod I do for performance til I build a 370 down the line. Also got my two front windows tinted last time I was home on leave. Got them matched to the two back windows, looks better and is a lot cooler during the day now.
