408 i would go SD tune, screw the MAF, i used a 4" silicone 90* then a thin wall pcv pipe, i have taylor sheet metal making me a box to house the filter then a down pipe to force in outside air

allen nelson as a special on ls1truck where he is selling silicone couplers and such

PCMforless has a 4 inch intake with a ls7 maf. Its made for a tbss but it would work for a silverado with very little modification.

SD=Speed Density...MAF's are nice if you do alot of different driving, elevation change,hot/cold weather..etc.. sd/maf each have there own strengths and weakness's, talk to your tuner and get his opinion...LPE has a nice 4" maf as well....
