Oh **** dude thats good news!!! The 799 heads are much better. You're gonna have a nice little beast on your hands after this cam.

FYI you have the L33 engine. Its a pretty desirable 5.3. I hope you didnt mill the heads too much though, your factory compression is already 10:1 or so.

.030 ? Was that to much cause this is a daily and it has stock New hg what ever stock thickness is. But then again I ordered it for a 2003 Yukon which is what the motor suppose to have come from.

I mean I think it will probably be fine, but I don't know how much that will drop your compression.

This thing is gonna be a burner for a 5.3. It's going to make a lot of torque and the head flow enough to keep it going up top too. I can't wait to hear your impressions when its done.

Motor is together was starting to put front stuff on and realized it was way different than my other motor. So the good part is I got a newer motor bad part is Damn have I had to buy way more parts than I wanted. So iv got to go learn some stuff about deleting this DoD.

Not to mention relocate your knock sensors and compensate for the 58 tooth crank reluctor wheel wheel versus the 24 tooth from any gen 3 engine. Lingenfelter has there conversion box.
