I ordered what was supposed to be a cam package from BTR, but for some reason I was only charged for the cam, and only the cam showed up.

was supposed to get rods and pac 1218 beehives as well.

anyway, im wondering now if I should just get the ls6 springs.
my cam is a 214/222 .560 111lsa and the ls6 say they are good to .570, cutting it too close?

edit: summit shows good to .570 and jegs shows good to .550

maybe I better not take the chance over $60 like was stated

I called them and left a message my cam is on the way now but I wasted so much time tryin to buy off here. I called bt to order rods and new springs cause I don't want to use my used ls6 springs so we will see if they call me back. Otherwise I'm stuck with waiting after
vacation before having it installed and that blows. U can order ls6 springs from sdpc for cheap and they should work fine with your setup but I would call them and not pm them like I did otherwise u will be waiting for new year but im sick and no voice so making calls have left me stranded.

That's not a bad deal but would they work with our 5.3 components?

Well they took heads off and stripped her down. While having the heads milled and cleaned they realized they where 799 not 706 and the pistons are flat top not dish.

Now I thought all 5.3 where dish and 4.8 where flat?
Now the kicker we bought a 2003 valley gasket and the gasket that is needed is for the newer 5.3 motors? Any take ?
