6" or 14" body? 6" inch round or 5x8" oval? How loud was it cruising on highway?

Would you say you were able to have a conversation with your passenger?

I'm thinking of the 6" body, 6 inch round 4 in 4 out, 4" catback.

which one of these race mufflers could i swap in for my flowmaster and be just as loud? I was checking out the 5x8 12" race mufflers, that be about equal to the FM 40?

then again im not sure how loud these damn things can be......i want the same "loudness" of the flows now but without that damn little drone i get at 70mph

I had the Borla XR-1 round muffler . . . it was a 6" round, 3.5 in/out . . . really raspy. I added a bullet infront, and it changed a little, but not much. It's the one in my sig.

Whats up guys, had a blast out there at SAR. I must of had 20 different people come up and ask me about my exhaust. I'll get some pics of the entire system for ya'll but as far as a sound clip...I don't have a video camera. If someone wants to come out and record it that would be fine, just let me know. Specs on the full exhaust are as follows:
Pacesetter long-tubes,
Pacesetter ory
about 24" of 3" pipe into a 3" to 4" adapter
4" magnaflow race muffler, 6" round, 14" case length, 20" overall length. Part No. 14163, link: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=7817
4" mandral bent tail pipe for a short bed duramax.
Exits just like the stock exhaust.
