Anyone Towing with Turbo 5.3 /6.0 ?

Stock truck manifold, bigger injectors,it's all been done thousands of times, not really worried on that end.Probably change the cam,if someone can convince me there are gains to be made in the conservative rpm range I am gunning for,or remove, inspect, reinstall.

Fair question.Without going into it all,it is a project that no doubt will take more than a year, that involves mucho work and a vintage cab swap.Firewall to radiator is going to be somewhat tight and squeezing an intercooler into the usual place may be rough. How the engine bay lays out with accessories and all is a work in progress. If there is a "kit" that works,it will take some doing.
On the other hand,I can install the exhaust and driveline on an open chassis.

I would think it would be great for towing. The ford ecoboost is a 3.5 and tows great so a 5.3 setup the right should be a beast towing. I always said gm should have made the 4.8 twin turbo to stomp on ford plus it would get great gas mileage cruising.
