Anyone ever put a duramax in a 1/2 ton?

Shouldent the question be, "Has anyone put the Isuzu engine ina a 1/2 ton?"
I don't believe in disguising the Japaneese engine by calling it a Duramax.

I dont think the guys running them really focus on that. Its a strong engine.

You must have been reading the Ford and Dodge propaganda handbook to come up with that one.

I guess the facts of Duramax, Ltd. and who owns controlling interests don't matter when you are slinging BS.

Aside from that, what does it matter that Isuzu lended their expertise? They have created some of the most capable diesels on the planet.

I wish someone would step up a make a 1500 with the Dmax. Reinforce the frame a bit and have a narrowed rear with 4 link. A truck like 2toneblown's as far as suspension would be bad ***.
