The dealership said it was the fuel pump and would be $800 to replace. So I open my mouth and say hey, have tried replacing the FPR and Filter yet? It's easy(thinking GENIII). If that doesn't work we'll just drop the tank and replace the pump. So we pop the hood and I was like, ewwww................. |
I just replaced the fuel pressure reguator and the cylinder 3 and 6 injectors.. my truck runs much better now.. and my power is back.. Can you tell me more information on the multitec 2 injector upgrade that you were talking about.. how much does it cost?

fwiw, we did get the job finished, pretty quickly considering all the connections. Ended up costing my buddy about $125 in parts( FPR, filter, FP) and some Pizza:)
