Default idle

that's why you need to do the PCM, higher air flow at idle but no
extra fuel for it.

Most are using gold blade TBs these days. Newest X-Links are optimized for those. There will be slightly less opening with a silver blade.

Shoot! I was told to get the silver blade because of the gold ones closing partially at wot with the supercharger. Something about retaining pressure or something. I'll kick myself if the gold blade would have worked just as well.... I could have saved a couple hundred dollars. How much less does the silver one open? Any benefit to putting the gold one on other than price?

Probably won't make a difference, other than the cost. Silver blade will open at least as much as it does in the stock applications it was used on (LS2, LS7).

Is there any truth to the " not wanting to stay open at wot work a supercharger thing"? I was told they could cause a rep code. That's why I went with the silver.

Either way it should be better than the 78mm that was on there, right?

Much better. I'm running a pair of gold blades.

What % of opening will I expect to get with the silver blade?
