cut them out of a "donor" manifold, like you said they're knurled and tap right in. make sure you countersink the existing boss otherwise they'll stick up a little bit. i've seen them called "nut-set's" but have yet to locate them seperately.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to try getting them out of my old 5.3 manifold. I got it working perfect right now, but would rather have it non-rigged. I also need a vacuum cap for my throttle body as the new manifold (DBW truck) had a fitting right behind the throttle body, so I stuck a hose on the TB vacuum line and stuck a bolt in it You can't see it as it is under the cover, and it kinda gives it that back yard feel, but I gotta get it right. I'm driving it every day, as it wasn't even down for a day, but I still need to "touch it up" a little. What's up with this Crank Relearn that everyone is talking about?? I'm gonna try to get the SES light turned off (due to no EGR) early this week, should I get the Crank Relearn thing done as well??

Congrats on the swap. Im fixing to do the exact swap on Memorial day weekend. My truck is a 2001 5.3 and im installing a 2005 h2 hummer 6.0. So i can absolutely use my cable on this intake instead of the electric throttle that is supposed to be used on the 05 models? Thanks Gary

Just curious, why didn't you slap a cam in that 6L while it was out?
