Default 6.0 swap. help me get the engine to start UPDATE engine starts, but no oil psi

ok guys, as you see i dont have to many post, i use the search button like crazy to find most of my answers.

that being said, heres the lowdown. just did a lq9 swap in 2000 rcsb. original motor was 5.3.

the engine has a 228/228 114lsa cam - other than that the bottom end is stock. heads are basiclly stock besides dual springs.

i have everything hooked up that i know of besides 02s.

i read 1slowz71's thread about his last motor swap issues, and my truck is doing basically the same thing- the motor will turn over, but acts like it is only trying to start on 2 cylinders. it will puff a little white smoke out every couple of times. i put a light on it to see if it was getting spark and it is, but when i pull the plug its not wet. im going to try and go get a fuel psi guage today to see what my pressure is like. but i ould think i have fuel because one of my fittings on the rail was loose and started leaking.

the first thing i need to start with is the grounds. i have read plenty of threads on this, but im just not understanding fully.

to start, how many grounds (from the harness only) are there behind the passenger side head? i only see one but everybody says theres 2?

Have the injectors been sitting with fuel in them? My swap wouldn't start because of them being clogged.

i would think that you have to have power to them to open them up while cleaning right?

let me know you address and what beer you drink, i swappped the injectors with some stock ones i had and she fired up for the first time!!.

on to the second issue. once i changed the injectors 2 of them started leaking from the top of the injector. can i buy new Orings , or do i have to buy all new injectors?

biggest issue, the oil pressure is not moving on my guage, i also pulled the filler neck to see if i could see oil in there and didnt really seee any. any ideas?

You can get new o-rings at autozone/napa/advanced etc.

...obvious question, but did you put oil in it? Is there a big puddle of oil under the truck from a forgotten drain plug or filter?

Did you reuse the oil sending unit from your old engine? Take a valve cover off and turn it over a few times and see if you get any oil....it may make a mess so be warned.

Did you pull the pan before you swapped the engine in? Oil pickup may be clogged...
