Default Kooks or ARH?

I just finished my 402 w/L92 heads and now ready to purchase some headers. I am looking at the Kooks or ARH. I am leaning towards the ARH because they look like they may be more equal length on the primaries but I have seen posts that one primary is super close to the steering shaft.

I would appreciate any comments from those with experience. My truck is a 2002 Tahoe.

Thanks!

Tons of room around the steering shaft on a 2002. Sometimes on the NNBS, you have to trim the bolt on the steering shaft(for the ARH).

Like Stew said, go with whatever is a better price for you. Performance between the two is going to be very very close.

Both are reputable.. Personally, I'm using ARH.

Well, I decided to go with ARH and placed the order today. I did this because Anthony at ARH saw this thread and PM'd me to ask if he could be of help. I gave him a call and we discussed my concerns and also some tech help with my mid-pipes. In my book, ARH is tops in customer service!

Another reason why I decided on ARH is that two weeks ago I called Kooks, was put into a voice message system and to this day never got a call back.

I'll remember that. IMO I'm not overly pleased with the Stainless Works headers I have for my Camaro. So I will be putting them on my truck and buying bigger headers for the Camaro. I will look closely at what ARH has to offer.
