Default 408 Stroker Kit for 6.0 LQ9

OK ive decided not to buy a assembled 408 off the internet instead im just going to 408 my Spun LQ9. Now I see 2 kits for the 408 kit one is 1200-1400 and another is 2000-2400 both have forged parts im new to this so which is best this will be going in my escalade ext not trying to run 9s but will be getting either a LSA supercharger or procharger in the future. Or any other brand suggestions?

There was an article recently about how the 4" crank/piston combination compromised the oil ring and you had to do something different for it.

The suggested fix was to use a 3.9" crank.

Edit: found the article I had read a couple of weeks ago.

That first rotating assembly is for a big block Chevy, not an LS.

The voodoo kit doesn't include pistons and rings. I just built a 408. For all forged bottom end you're looking $2K+

ok say all the 2k+ kits is what I need? Ok cool because I see some having different pistons dished and flat top. I guess I'm going to stick with flat tops since the lq9 already flat top with 799 heads. Thank you for response

Bigger bore will adjust your compression ratio - make sure you account for that and order pistons to match your desired compression ratio. 11:1 is still streetable in most cases fyi

I built a 408. Everyone is telling me it is going to blow up soon. How many miles are you all expecting to get out of them?
