Default 4 Fouled plugs?

Hey guys, once again I need help.

My truck has not been running well since i put the headers on last week. I put the pacesetter LTs with ORY. I put brand new TR55 plugs, stock gap as well. Also had Nelson send me a retune for the o2 sensors. The whole driver side has fouled plugs. Passenger side of the motor is fine. I originally thoght well maybe the o2 sensor is not plugged in on that side. Thats not it. Also, since i put the headers on it has smelled like its really rich. I thoght that was becuase of the removal of the cats. I guess i was wrong. The plugs are black and all sooted up. This should not happen in 1 week. Also i was not really sure why my truck was running poorly, and all of a sudded today the SES came on and trukc felt like it had a miss and was gonna stall out.

lets here some advice please.

do you have a scanner for troubble codes? since your showing a code. If not what is your ecm stock? Or maybe a poor tune by nelson on your o2 sensors

I had some fouling probs after my tune/cam swap, but it was from seafoam I think. You should be able to read your plugs after a short drive around the blck. I would try swapping them and driving a couple of miles and reading them again.

dub - i know you did, but to ask anyway. did you reset the ECM after the LT install?
i just put my Pacesetters and ORY on 2 weeks ago and the only prob i have had is the hot *** weather kickin my tunes *** by pullin some timing when it gets heat soaked.
when i cut my cats after the cam install and with the manifolds still on it smelled really rich for a couple of weeks, but after a few hundred miles it cleared up quite a bit, and now with the headers installed it still isn't that bad.
FWIW if you don't find anything mechanically wrong (bad wire, plug, vacumn leak, etc), i would reset the ECM, do an idle relearn (w & wo AC), take her out put some miles on her trying to hit all the fuel trim cells, and blow the cob webs out of it and see how she does from there.

if the plugs are all on the same side my money is on a bad 02 sensor
do you have any scanning software,
I would get the code read probably rich bank 1 or 2
Did you start it with open headers?

I Have Had Several Of These Problems In My Gm Service Center......it Always Turns Out To Be A Faulty O2 Sensor. Try This Out.

well i replaced my o2 sensors, both front ones with new bosch ones today. SES light went off about 20 miles after driving it. Guess that was the problem.

Just an FYI for you guys. If you go to Advance auto parts, used to be discount auto, and tell them you want to open a business account, you can get nice discounts. I just gave them my business name and phone number he set me up for the third tier out of 4 pricing discounts. saved $20+ on each sensor, and got some tr55s for 124 each. You dont need any business papers or anything. Worth a shot. Save some money on oil, tools, replacment parts.
