Default 34" Radiator question

I did a search, but didn't see the answer to my question(s). When you say a 34" radiator are you including the end tanks in that measurement?
Did or do any of the 1500 series Silverados come with the 34" radiator? I ask these questions because when I measure mine it is just over 34" wide including the end tanks, but I still have a wider set of unused (threaded) holes in the top support ???

My Truck is a 2004 Regular Cab Short Bed 5.3 with G80 package / Eaton 3.73 differential.

34" is just the core measurement. Yours should be around 28". SUVs, all 05 and newer 1500s, 1500 trucks factory equipped with 6.0s, and any HD truck have 34" radiators stock.

it is all the 05's+, including the 5.3's not just the 6.0's... if you have factory electric fans then you have the 34" radiator, if it came with the fan/clutch then you have the 28" radiator...

thanks...
