3.5" single exhaust options?

Time to try a different exhaust on my 07 Avalanche and I'm looking for a 3.5" single system with no luck so far. Stainless Works has a 3.5" system for the Tahoe (which I'm sure I could make work) but I'm hoping there are other options out there that I haven't come across. Anything out there that I'm missing? Current mods are in my signature.

I'd also consider modifying a factory takeoff 3.5" exhaust like my Denali has but so far no luck finding one.

EDIT: decided to try searching for a Yukon XL which should be the same and found Gibson and Mangaflow options in 3.5" just not positive they will fit. Also, like the Avalanche, it looks like a part number difference starting in mid-2008 but no idea what the change was.

After some more searching I found the Magnaflow 16720 3.5" system which is for the 2007-8 Escalade ESV/EXT and Yukon XL Denali. Since the 07-8 Avalanche shares part numbers with the Suburban and Yukon XL I'd imagine this system for its 6.2L cousin should work?

A factory exhaust from a newer truck with the 6.2 should have a 3.5 exhaust.

I have one in the garage that I got from Craigslist for $50.

I wonder if it sounds like total shit without the cats. Wouldn't mind ditching the magnaflow for that on my Colorado if it didn't sound like total asshole.

I have a 6.2 OE muffler on a 3.5" back system in my Tahoe. With 1 7/8s LTs, 3" Y and the 6.2 muffler it was a little buzzy. I added a Dynomax Bullet before the tip and that helped a lot.

6.2 systems are actually 3.375 input 3.5 output on the muffler.

Im a bit disappointed as I only got ~16k out of it before it started rattling at 2500ish RPM. I am in the process of swapping it out for a 3.5" Magnaflow. P/N: 12909. No information on how this sounds yet, but it's $120, stainless, straight thru and 3.5"

I'm in a slightly different boat than the OP however because I built my system from the LTs back. I didn't buy a kit for our trucks, or splice the 6.2 muff into the original plumbing.

Thanks aurthursc2 that helps a bit. I've lot 1 7/8 longtubes and a 3" y as well and the Kooks are the same PN for the 6.2 in the Escalade ESV/EXT etc. I can't see why the Magnaflow system wouldn't fit. I love my Corsa Sport but it's been on for 150k+ miles and 12 years. Corsa has been great and they warrantied several components that wore out but I'm just ready for a change.

I have to agree with the other guy above, it will sound a bit buzzy or tin can-y if you catch my drift. My friend put a cam in his 07 trailblazer 5.3 to remove the DoD/AFM stuff but kept the stock manifolds and gutted the cats. Left the stock muffler and tail pipe but has the tin/pingy sound under moderate load. He doesn't care because it's quiet at cruising speeds so we left it.

I took the cats out of the Colorado and with the stock muffler/catback it sounded less like a tin can and more like a 55 gallon drum. Worst exhaust sound ever lol. But sounds like magnaflow is still the best option. I prefer engine roar over exhaust noise anyway.

My muffler was rattling after the cam swap so i bought a 4ft piece of 3.5 inch and 3 45's from summit.
Cut off the 3rd useless cat and made my own with a borla XR-1 #40946 and the stock resonater.
Love the sound and the wife gets compliments all the time on it.

Here is my old 6.2 with 1-7/8 OBX headers, no cats, 12909 muffler and the rear resonator cut off and just dumped over the axle. I had a 1 year old baby at the time and pull the boat to the lake every weekend with him knock out asleep. And never worried about a down shift waking him up. It sounded great at WOT but no drone and the tires where louder than the exhaust at cruising speeds.
