Thanks. I was planning on using the LS3 cover like in the TSP kit. The block off's were for added protection against a leak.

The block offs are a must when deleting the DOD/AFM. If you don't, the truck will have less than 10lbs of oil pressure when starting up.

I've posted a few threads on doing a DOD delete, you might want to read up a little more before starting

Cool, thanks. I will search your threads and do some reading. I have done a ton of cam swaps but this is a new animal. Just so I am clear on your last post, just using the o-rings that come with the LS3 valley cover will not be enough. I still need to drill and tap in some allen sets to ensure no oil leaks.

Negative, no drilling needed on anything.

Use the LS7 valley cover with the charcoal filter or the 4.8 valley cover. Yes the LS3 works as well.
