2003 flex fuel suburban upgrade
Hello people,
I have 2003 flex fuel suburban, i have looked up google and different forums and at loss on what get. I have lq4 6.0 stripped apart, going to rebuild with new internals. I need guidance on the engine build, i have already upgraded my diff to limited 3.73 by detroit. I will reuse the 317 heads but have them ported. The burban will be a weekend and some daily driving. I will be swapping a 4l80e into it. Will be using the stock crank, i want a good cam for this pig. Mild to choppy idle is what i am looking for. Lq4 was given to me, i looked at pacesetter longtube headers. Any input much appreciated. |
while engine is gutted, up the comp. LQ4 comp is weak sauce.
dump the pacesetter idea. Speed engineering is the rage these days. They are a sponsor here, check their threads. |
LQ9 Flat tops are actually pretty affordible
