you can save money. I have the 5x11x28 magnaflow dual 3 inch inlet/dual 3 inch outlet with internal x pipe. its like 110 bucks shipped on ebay so no need for 2 muffler or another x pipe

If you go Dual you don't want to go larger than a 2.5". A SINGLE 3" with Long Tubes will make you lose alot of power under 50mph.
I just put on some Long Tubes and single 3" with Dynomax bullet and Borla xr1 and lost a lot of power from my 5.3. Going to get a tune this weekend to even everything back up. I am starting to notice a bit more power from 50-70 range.
And if you do decide to go 3" you Definately want prebent depending on where you live. I'm having a hell of a time finding someone that can bend 3" pipe.

NORCAL TBSS, that thing sounds good. Is that video with or without the headers on there ??? I'd like to know what that muffle sounds like on a 5.3L with stock manifolds.

I have 3" true duals on my truck w/ an x pipe and it is very loud and drone's really bad at highway speeds, but mine exit's out the side in front of the rear tire and maybe that makes it worse. but at full throttle it's really screaming. I am going to change to a little quieter mufflers soon and a set of electric cutouts.

I was thinking about doing this exact setup but now I'm rethinking it. Did you not have a custom tune when you did this mod? And were you able to tune it out?
